Itaewon is easily accessible from most of Seoul and other neighbouring cities. Hiring a car is an option, though many travellers find that traffic is a bit congested and parking can be limited. The public transportation system is very efficient and proves to be an inexpensive and convenient way to explore. Plenty of taxis and buses are available throughout the city, with many of the buses going directly to Itaewon. The most direct route is to take the subway line 6 to the Itaewon station. Once in the district, many attractions are within walking distance, and those that aren't can be reached by taxi.
