63 Building hotels
The 63 Building, also known as 63 City, is an iconic skyscraper located on the Yeouido Island of Seoul, South Korea. Standing at 249 metres, this one-of-a-kind structure was the tallest of its kind outside of North America upon its construction in 1985. The 63 Building’s awe-inspiring gold-clad design has become a world-famous symbol for the many financial companies that call this structure home. Also featured within the building is an IMAX theatre with banquet hall and convention centre, which serves as centre points to an extended complex of gift shops, recreational centres, and fine eateries. The building's 58th and 59th floors feature five-star dining, while the world's tallest art gallery can be found on the 60th floor.
- Journey upward to the observation deck, officially called the 63 Golden Towers, and enjoy magnificent panoramic views of Seoul's skyline, as well as the city of Incheon on clear days.
- Visit one of Seoul's oldest indoor aquariums, the 63 Seaworld, which houses approximately 20,000 aquatic creatures, including the massive prehistoric coelacanth.
- Explore the Wax Museum, which feature a 3-D, 360-degree theatre, and Japanese sculptor Satoru Matsuzaki's wax sculptures of Korea's political figures, Hollywood celebrities, and sports stars.
The 63 Building is accessible via Seoul's many forms of efficient public transportation. Visitors travelling along subway line 1 should get off at Daebang Station and walk toward Exit 6, where frees shuttles offer transit directly to the 63 Building. Holidaymakers can ride bus number 62 if they miss the shuttle. Travellers visiting this incredible structure via subway line 5 should either get off at Yeouinaru station and find free shuttle stops at Sambu APT, or get off at Yeoido station, and take free shuttle transit from St. Mary's Hospital.
