The staff was incredibly accommodating. We ended up booking 5 nights, and there was an incident where they were overbooked and could only guarantee 3 nights, however they resolved it within 10 minutes and put us on a higher floor overlooking the
waterfront. The room service and breakfast were incredibly reasonable compared to what we pay in America. Very reasonable amenities, including great spa packages. The room was cleaned perfectly after requesting room service. The only downside was getting to the hotel as the taxi driver had a hard time finding a way in, as you have to go through the Southern Sun since its a one-way. Overall great first experience and a lot of things are within walking distance, not to mention the great pizzeria right outside. Will definitely return the next time we're in Cape Town.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short drive from hotel
Use Uber to get the waterfront. It amounts to about 4-5 US Dollars (50 Rand) and you avoid the long walk (which seems like its not that long but it is after walking over the bridge and around to the V&A Waterfront. Took us about 20-some minutes to walk there.
