Marina Barrage hotels
Located in the heart of Downtown Singapore, the Marina Barrage is a dam that was used to create the country’s 15th reservoir. Reaching across the mouth of the Marina Channel, the dam was first opened in 2008 as a way to control floods, store water, and create a recreational area for visitors. The ultra-modern design of the dam is both functional and beautiful, as it keeps low-lying areas from flooding by pumping excess water out to the sea, and provides tourists with amazing views of the blue water below.
- Go kayaking in the Marina Basin and enjoy great views of the skyline of Singapore.
- Amazing seafood while enjoying spectacular views of the bay at the 7th Storey Restaurant located in the Marina Barrage Visitor’s Centre.
- Your senses on an exciting journey at the Sustainable Singapore Gallery, where interactive multimedia exhibits showcase Singapore’s efforts to save and protect the environment for future generations.
