Ponce, Puerto Rico
Ponce is Puerto Rico’s second-largest city after San Juan, and it is located on the south coast of the island. It is known as Puerto Rico’s Museum City since it houses the islands’ best museums. The two most recognized are the Museo de Arte de Ponce, which is one the best in Latin America, and the Museo de la Música Puertorriqueña.

Getting There & Around
Tourists usually arrive to Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, situated in Carolina, rent a car and drive to Ponce. The town also has an airport, Mercedita International Airport, which receives daily flights from the United States.
The best way to get around is by renting cars or taking taxis. Taxis are the best option, since these are cheap and plentiful. The town's main attractions are located at the centre of its Historic Zone; therefore, tourists can enjoy walking around.
