Seatoun is a suburb of Wellington, located about 7 kilometres from the central business district. This charming area lies on the eastern coast of the Miramar Peninsula, and offers visitors a bevy of scenic landscapes and natural surroundings. It is near the infamous Barrett Reef, where numerous ships have been wrecked. Oriental Bay is also close to here, and is a popular attraction for both visitors and locals. Visitors should fly into the Wellington Airport and then board the Airport Flyer express bus service to reach the city. Once in Wellington, you can use public transport services to reach Seatoun. The Go Wellington buses are one option; regular and limited bus services also run in the area and bus number 11 will bring you to Seatoun. You can also use ferry services to reach this suburb; the East by West Ferry runs between Queens Wharf and the Seatoun Wharf. From the wharf, you can walk to any destination in the area.
