Good Value

It is a quite old motel so the in room facilities are kinda old. But it is clean and staff are friendly. Twizel is a very small town and pretty much nothing to do however it is close to Mt Cook so if you drive from Queenstown to Christchurch and would like to visit Mt Cook, this is a good place to stay overnight.

Clean accommodation

Good accommodation in Twizel as a base for a day at Mt Cook and surrounds. Do not agree with a philosophy of charging for credit card usage so "ate out" - good choice of restaurants in the town centre

Wonderful and comfortable

My family and I stayed here early January on 2 occasions and were very happy with our rooms both times. The beds and room were very comfortable and clean. The staff were kind and helpful and we will stay here again when passing through. Twizel itself is quite small but quaint and cosy. It has all you need for groceries, bakery items. Thank you from our family for a most wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful night. The buffet was excellent. The staff were very helpful in spite of the fact that the hotel was full. I would certainly return to this hotel again.

Friendly service at all times.

Friendly service at all times. Hotel could do with a bit of updating. No lifts to upper floors. The evening meal was hit and miss, being that one meal was perfect and the other inadequate. Great for an overnight stay.
