Concert getaway

Really just another hotel, but the bed was really big and very comfortable. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly. Only annoying thing was the car park was full when we arrived and we had to park up a street round the corner. Was absolutely bucketing down so got wet getting to hotel.

Time-saving tip: Not Applicable

Ask about availability for car park if you need one and make sure you can either book it or get in early enough to get one. You could find yourself quite a distance away parking on the street.

Highly recommended

This hotel was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with everything we needed. We had a room on the first level which had access to the central courtyard which was perfect for our son to safely play in where we could easily keep an eye on him. The location was ideal, only 5 mins walk into the town centre, but there was also a shuttle bus running every hour which was very convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting when we misplaced a mobile phone and offering to print out our boarding passes for us. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

comfortable room & slept very well

Although my room had no view at all it was quiet & comfortable & the beds were excellent so slept very well. The room was spotless & the bathroom very nice - some more space around the sink would have been nice but was ok. Reception staff was sometimes rather overwhelmed with customers but they were friendly. The location is an easy walk to town so no transport needed & parking was easy to access.

Great accommodation close to town!

We stayed the night in Queenstown at the Millennium. We got a great deal by booking using the mobile app. The Hotel is a 5 minute downhill walk to town, but if you are lazy or your wife is wearing high-heals they run a free shuttle service to town and back every hour. We have stayed at the Millennium before and have found that the lakeview rooms can be really noisy as the are just above the main road. Ask for a courtyard room and you'll get a better nights sleep.

Perfect Conference Venue

This is an excellent choice for a conference, a shame that they do not provide an airport shuttle service. However the Airport Bus drops and picks up right outside for $8 per person each way, an airport shuttle is about $13 pp ew, and a tax about $40 each way. The hotel does provide a shuttle service into (on the hour) and back (at 5 past the hour) from the town centre - however if you miss this it is only a few minutes walk down hill and if the uphill walk is too much a taxi is about $8. Everything in Queenstown is close and convenient, great restaurants, plenty of activities and the million dollar cruise a great way to spend 1.5 hours. The only problem we had was waiting for the air conditioning to heat up our room, however the helpful staff tried first another room and then organised a stand alone heater which did the trick.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Take the combined Gondola/Buffet ticket and go up just before nightfall. Great day light views and then after dark to really experience the magic that is this special town. Food is great. If walking from the hotel take the circular route which will save going right down into Queenstown and then climbing back up via the stairs.

Snow storm stay

Very tidy and well appointed accommodation house. Rooms are done up lovely and the king bed would have to be the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The deluge of snow on the day just completed the perfect occasion. I would prefer separate showers rather than over the bath but that's just a personal thing.

Comfortable stay.

Comfortable clean room. Car parking facilities not great but can park on road around corner. Room service good excellent steak. Breakfast ok a little expensive, one good staff member full of information, one not so good & not very helpful. When coming to breakfast a little direction towards the various items like coffee would have been helpful. I was in Queenstown for one night on business with own car which is good as it is uphill back from centre of town which is about 10 minutes walk.
