Kiwi Birdlife Park
Kiwi Birdlife Park is located in Queenstown, New Zealand. It’s an avian park dedicated to conserving New Zealand birds. Some admission proceeds go directly to bird conservation. The preservationist Wilson family built the park on the site of a former dump, famously transforming the space into a beautiful holidaymaker destination. In addition to kiwis, a tuatara, and several one-of-a-kind reptiles, the park also features five sprawling acres of native gardens, a gift centre, and a delicious coffee shop. Arguably this inimitable spot’s most memorable attraction is the twice-daily Live Conservation show, which features Kiwi Birdlife Park birds in the open, where visitors can see and possibly interact with these incredible creatures.
- Watch kiwi bird feedings at Kiwi Birdlife Park, which include information about the birds and the chance to see them intimately.
- Walk through the Queenstown Kiwi Birdlife Park’s five-acre Native Garden Trail, which makes its way through the bush and educates you with an audio tour and a Maori Hunting Village replica.
- Shop for souvenirs at the Kiwi Birdlife Park’s gift shop, which carries local Queenstown and New Zealand products, donating a portion of its proceeds to wildlife conservation.
