Easter Break 2014

From the moment we arrived we felt really welcomed and special. The room was delightfully warm and cosy and lovely little touches like provision of umbrella, wide range of complimentary tea/coffee etc. We could not have been more comfortable or felt more welcome. Restaurant service and food was outstanding. A wonderful way to spend time relaxing in all weathers.

Yes I do get you are the only Hotel at Punakaiki but this hotel does not give value for money. Its location is great but is over priced for what it offers. At $250 a night I would expect free WiFi. Staff told me I had to park in the main car park not at the back of the room, a 500 meter walk in the rain when the were 7 free car parks not used. I was told I had to be seated and have ordered dinner by 6.45 as a big group was coming, I got back from a walk at 8.30 and still no big group. your staff need to try harder and management need to remember we are they are only half an hour away from Greymouth.
