Getting There and Around

Martinborough has no local airport, so international visitors will need to fly into Auckland International Airport and then hire a rental car to drive the 472 kilometres to Martinborough. Visitors who are arriving from other parts of New Zealand can fly into either Palmerston North International Airport or Hood Aerodrome in nearby Masterton.

Martinborough is served by the MetLink bus and rail system, so visitors and residents can take advantage of public transportation to get to local places. If the MetLink system is not convenient to reach their destinations, guests can also arrange a rental car for transport.
