What travelers to Manukau City are saying
Manukau City is no longer a separate entity but is now a part of Auckland. This former district used to be “South Auckland”. The area displays an enormous amount of ethnic diversity with up to 55 ethnic groups with Polynesians, Maoris and Asians making up a chunk of the population. Although the city consisted largely of rural and semi-rural areas, it now boasts of a theme park and one of the earliest shopping malls in New Zealand. What draws people to this area is its unique mix of traditional and modern urban and rural, amidst differing cultures.
