Have stayed here before when working in Hamilton Really handy location and you can guarantee that suites are of a certain standard, with unobtrusive decor and all the bits you need (including washing powder). Had a really comfortable stay and was sorry it is always so short. The staff and management do make this a 'cut above' so many places - you get the impression of genuinely being valued. I really appreciate the service at Quest on Ward.

Great stay

This is the second time we have stayed at Quest on Ward. It is central and perfect for getting out and about in the Hamilton CBD and surrounds. The only negative point is that it still charges for WiFi internet which is poor in this day and age.

Better than a hotel/motel

We have not found accommodation to be that great in the Hamilton CBD. While some hotels are okay, the better ones are too expensive for what is offered plus parking costs/difficulty. Motels are good but are generally on the main roads and can be noisy. The Quest on Ward was right in the CBD in a quiet area and parking (there was a $10.00 cost) was just outside. The facilities in the room were of a good standard though perhaps a comfortable chair would not be amiss. Unfortunately there was a charge for wifi which did let it down a little. I believe this is a basic service in this day and age.

Was good before - very impressed this time...

I stayed at Quest on Ward Street a number of times when working at Waikato University two or three years ago... I chose it for its central location and the attractive neutral tones in the online pictures. I was really pleased with the facilities at the time - actually very spacious, clean and well equipped. Last week, I needed to overnight in Hamilton again... I have to say, though Valentine's Day may have made it a little more costly, it seemed more comfortable, even, than before - washing sachets, etc... everything you might need in a rush, all provided. And classy, helpful service - with a personalised welcome message waiting for me on the TV! Really impressed. The only thing missing (and it is a small thing) was a working lightbulb in one of the bedside lamps. I would have liked to have stayed longer.

Surprisingly quiet

Enjoyed our stay here, roomy, surprisingly quiet for the middle of town and in a great location. Cheap carparking. Just a warning we arrived on Saturday around noon luckily as their office closes early at 2pm. No warning on our booking.

Quest on Ward hamilton nz

the apartments really suit clients who are needing accom say on transfer from another town/city as the apartmt has a clothes drier and washing machine items not reqd for a one/two night stay but still have to be paid for in the daily rate .I only stayed one night so the rate plus the $10 for a secure car park at the rear of the Building was too much for a retired chap like me !!! The room lighting was very dim the owner will look into this
