The reviews were not too good before our visit, so I was a little concerned. However, for a mid January break for 5 days, the hotel was fine, good value for the money we paid, and we found the location suited us - we explored more out of the
Medina this break, the year before we stayed in the Medina, this hotel allowed us to expand our horizons a little.
The breakfast was fine, the a la carte restaurant a little basic, but all in all, no complaints.
The room was large, spacious, a little tired, but the balcony was a real bonus.
I didn't pay 5 star rates, and didn't expect 5 star standards. You get what you pay for, and I was pleased with my stay.
I would stay there again if I go for a third winter break in Marrakech - no problems.
