Malacca - Historical city

We are extremely happy with the services and especially the hospitality, friendly and broad happy faces greeting by the staffs. All are very well manner and professional. The room is very bright, clean and properly made. However the foods at the restaurant could be improved with more locally cuisine choices rather than leaning more towards western cuisine. It is worth mention regarding the two young lady trainees/ apprenticeship from ICT (KL), they are extremely well manners and dedicated to their individual roles. They are very down to earth and make us feel very right at home. They have made our stays in Malacca memorable.

Getaway for Two

Definitely the most marvellous hotel you can find in Malacca. Beautiful toilet with big bath tub. Excellent customer service with helpful and courteous staff. Breakfast was really good too. Rustic yet new, comfortable ambience. However, the walls of the rooms were a bit too 'thin', and you are going to be in for some sleepless nights if you have a noisy neighbour.

Nightlife tip: Long walk from hotel

A 15 minute walk to experience the night market at Jonker Street on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Definitely WAYYYY cheaper than the hotel dining.

The Colonial touch but something missing

The staff you meet are mainly Nepalise. They are gracious. The hotel room is small for the price, overfurnished but missing a luggage rack,a second chair and drawers. The Wifi was faulty. The view spoilt by a gigantic under construction building across the river. Location means a walk or taxi to main tourist points and no obvious local food stops. The river walk to Jonker street is stopped by construction.I would stay neare the action in future.Best points the comfortable bed and the colonial dinning room.

A wonderful hotel that tells the attractiveness of Malacca

I went to Malacca because I wanted to feel the historical mix of east and west. This hotel met 100% of my goal with excellent service & hospitality. Staff are very friendly and always want you to feel like at home. I could not enjoy more when staying in Majestic and will definitely recommend my friends this hotel.

The Majestic Hotel Malacca is

The Majestic Hotel Malacca is a nice, little boutique hotel tucked at a convenient place, just a stone's throw away from Malacca's famous historic Jonker Street, where food and souvenirs galore. The hotel has a nice, serene historic feel to it. It has very pretty colonial and Peranankan features and deco. Staff is efficient and well-trained, the spa is great, and the room is big and luxurious! Will definitely return when the price is right and not too expensive.
