Dining

The River Grill
Breakfast is a continental buffet, bakery & toast stations and an extensive a la carte selection of hot contemporary dishes supplemented by just squeezed juices, fresh ground coffee and loose leaf teas.Lunch sees the return of daily changing fixed price lunch menus. Ideal for business entertainment in the opulent surrounds of the grill room. The menu will offer daily changing five choices in two or three courses.Guests can choose for the more informal bar and cafe menu in the brasserie area or, for that special occasion, go for the Grill experience. This sees the re-introduction of some classic dishes presented with contemporary service. Dishes for two, gueridon service and a broad choice of wine from around the world all add up to a uniquely riverside dining experience.
Bar Rio
Located at the western end of the hotel overlooking the river and out to the Straits, it is the place to be after work as the sun sets and the day cools. Light bar lunches and afternoon tea become talked about again. With beers on tap, BarRio also offers a variety of boutique beers, wines and spirits including a variety of Soju and Sake, with a list of contemporary and classic cocktails. All this enjoyed in the unique setting of being by the riverside or in one of the private cabanas "in" the Lago at the centre of the hotel.
The River Cafe
Right on the south east corner of the hotel is the most immediately accessible part of the hotel by the river.Single dish breakfast for dine in to take away. Coffee and fresh juices on the go, beers and wine, light blackboard lunches, sport updates on the screen. In the evening, the River Cafe becomes a wine and sushi bar offering a range of fresh seafood items to complement a list of wines, sake, soju and cocktails.

Melaka trip

Not bad but not serve ice cream on welcome. Pool is small. Menu board is misleading in the pool. Ex. Wrote happy hour buy 1 free 1 on all house pouring wines & beer ........ice cream 10++. But in actual fact, wine & beer have different pricing.

Honeymoon

Everything in Casa Del Rio were awesome except the food. Breakfast and high tea desert in hotel restaurant were just so so but the rooftop pool bar was perfect. Thank you for the special surprise decoration and the DIY chocolate berry fondue arranged by hotel staff. My husband and I were so surprised when we went in to our room after Jonker Street night walk.

Hotel is in a great location,

Hotel is in a great location, walking distance to Jonker Street. The hotel room and bathroom were lovely and spacious. Room rate is a little pricey. However the room rate I paid for (a Lago Room facing the courtyard) includes breakfast and internet. Internet is very slow though, but it's Malaysia.

Service was impeccable. Since

Service was impeccable. Since hotel was new, some facilities were not ready. The breakfast menu was mostly alacarte which is not very ideal if you want to taste a variety of foods. The room furnishings were first class
