Dining

Vergnano Italian restaurant
Vergnano Italian restaurant, where traditional Italian cuisine tantalizingly presented in elegant surroundings; contemporary in appearance though traditional in taste. Located at the heart of St. Mark's Square at Venetian Macau, Vergnano Italian presents a stylish dining experience with excitingly different Italian cuisine; blended traditional Italian favorites with mordent and delightfully innovative dishes.
Fogo Samba
The sounds of Brazilian Samba liven up the warm, comfortable atmosphere at Fogo Samba. The churrascaria's (Brazilian barbecue steakhouse) specialty is its grilled meats: 15 different cuts of chicken, lamb, beef and pork are roasted in an open grill, and served to guests upon request. A red and green chip lets cortadores (meat carvers) know when you want more, or when you've had enough. Fogo Samba even caters to the tastes and needs of vegetarians with an extensive salad bar. Enjoy a completely different atmosphere at the Samba Bar, where you can enjoy a few drinks with your friends.
North
The newest dining venue at The Venetian Macao, "North" features traditional cuisines from the Dongbei and Sichuan regions of China. Featuring live preparation and cooking of noodles, dumplings and steamed items, dishes will be prepared by authentic Chefs specifically from Northeast China.

Not so enjoyable

The room is awesome and great. Big with very nice theme. But one thing that is bad is the toilet shower with very extremely small water. The bathe tub is working great though, so if traveller is fine with bathe tub, the room will be awesome!

you don't get what you've paid

no free wifi provided. no breakfast provided. walk very far to get to our room. need to have a lengthy walk distance to reach swimming pool. the room is not as luxurious as we thought and with the experience, definitely not worth the pricey value paid.

Clash in Cotai 2

Stayed here for the Manny Paquiao fight. Most convenient place to stay as Cotai Arena as it is just downstairs. Long walk from Reception room to lobby. No complimentary WIFI for one of the better hotels in Macau. Wouldn't say reception staff are the most friendly and accommodating, concierge and other support staff were though. Room was nice with great view. However had a strong odour on entering. Maybe due to carpeting and older style decor? Was not a foul smell but not pleasant either. Great for shopping and definitely a tourist attraction but would say not greatest value for money.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Canal Shoppes/Food court Level 3 has a vast selection and decent value and servings. There is even a McDonalds which was a big surprise Difficult to find simple panadol/nurofen at the pharmacies. Took a lot of searching. Make sure to bring your own medicine

Good Vacation place

Nice. Downside-really crowded casino floor and hotel areas and bus services. Like a market place. Also had to wait for 1+ hour to get onto the connecting bus to San Ma Loh at the Galaxy interchange. Unacceptable. The drivers do not volunteer to increase frequency in spite of the developing crowded queue. Should cancel the service if unable to cope, Cheers. Also should allow guests to go home with some winnings, haha. Cheers.

Large room with nice view

The room is large with nice view. It is full of smoky smell though i requested for a non-smoking room. Shopping mall is too crowded even on weekdays and it is required to queue up for long for shuttle buses and taxi.
