Hotel location is superb with lovely views of the port and islands. Pity the room was so small and we did not get the requested sea-view. Staff are friendly, reception were v helpful regarding local amenities etc. Food was OK but freshly cooked items when they arrived were over-done and luke warm and despite returning them on the 3 days the second attempts were equally overcooked. This could be due to a language problem as the serving staff seemed to be mostly Eastern European with only minimal basic English. Will still enjoyed the stay at the Somerville and will return in the future.
