Dining

Grill & Bar Lieu
The Grill & Bar Lieu takes its name from the French word for "place", which - in a linguistic coincidence that resonates with the sound of the stream in the hotel's inner courtyard - is phonetically identical to the Japanese word for "flow". With an impressive wine cellar and a wide selection light, healthful, Provenal-style dishes made from seasonal vegetables, prime-cut meats and poultry, and fresh-caught seafood, it offers a dining experience that is sure to delight.
Japanese Restaurant Yukuri
Located across the garden courtyard from the hotel's main building, Yukuri takes its name from an ancient Japanese word that means "to achieve rapport." Here you can experience authentic kaiseki cuisine in a setting that is at once modern and traditionally Japanese. Whether you enjoy your meal with a sweeping view of the garden courtyard, or in the intimacy of Yukuri's private dining room, it will be a culinary experience you are sure to treasure.

A real bargain for modern and comfort

This is the real gem - it's in Chiyoda, a couple of train stops from Tokyo Station, and there are 2 different Subway lines near it as well, in addition to JR Yamanote train line. Very nice hotel room - even just a standard room it is good! You would likely have to go a bit further for dinners, but plenty of nice lunch places around as well. Would be very happy to come back next time in Tokyo

Great location

Very comfortable room which was spotlessly clean with everything you need including fresh pj's every day (which we didn't use.....preferred to use our own). Location terrific, railway and restaurants very close by. Only drawback was not being able to check into our room before 2pm and seeing that we arrived very early in the morning we had to kill 7hours, we were able to leave our cases with them but when you have just got off long flight all you want to do is freshen up, unfortunately we couldn't book the extra night as it was full.we also had a problem changing currency as only US and Euro could be changed they told me to go to a nearby larger hotel to change Aus currency .use the ATM at the seven/eleven next to the railway station to withdraw cash on Visa card

Home from Home

In a quite side street a short walk from Suidobashi JR station. From the trees and water facing the road at the front thru to the beautifully decorated rooms this is a superb hotel. Rooms are immaculate with a full range of amenities. Size is good by Tokyo standards. Have stayed a number of times and have always been 100% satisfied. Love the Superior twins. Local station connects to all areas with ease

Exceeded our expectations

We spent eight nights at the hotel, having booked it but knowing nothing about it, and we used it as base for Tokyo sightseeing and day trips. Staff were very helpful, the room was was more spacious than anticipated, and the view was extensive from our floor. The refresh lounge and laundry were an added bonus. The hotel is close to Suidobashi station, which gives access to all the main attractions of Tokyo. We cannot comment on the restaurant as it was out of our price range, but we found lots of inexpensive places to eat nearby. It was a pleasure to return to the hotel after a long day's sightseeing. Also the quality of the hotel decor is impressive.

Pleasant stay

Thumbs up for everything! I was pleasantly surprised with the amenities provided - they even have 2 massage chairs free for use at the common area. Definitely useful after a full day of shopping/sightseeing. Prior to the trip, read reviews that the rooms are small - but I'm an Asian woman so the space didn't bother me! Around the hotel, there are good restaurants & a hidden gem - a homemade udon place - which was recommended by the hotel staff when we inquired where can we get authentic local food.

A hotel with Japananese flair.

Located in a not so touristy area but very convenient for everywhere via close by JR and metro stations. All areas are very well maintained and have the feel of quality and thoughtfulness in design. Our superior twin was large by Tokyo standards and was very comfortable. Sound insulation was 1st class. As well as efficient aircon there was a small opening window which we particularly appreciate. This is our new favourite in Tokyo and we will certainly stay there again.

Ideal Hotel for Tokyo Trip

Hotel was comfortable and very clean. It is close to the subway and the train lines so it is really easy to get around. It is quiet and comfortable. The room is a nice size compared to some places we stayed in Japan.
