Kingston enjoys relatively mild temperatures year round. The average annual high temperature is 31ºC (88ºF), and the average low is 22ºC (72ºF). The wet season is from May to November, coinciding with the hurricane season, and the dry season is from December to April.

The city’s largest airport, Norman Manley International Airport, receives domestic and international flights. Smaller aircraft can fly into Tinson Pen Aerodrome. Some visitors also arrive in Kingston via boat or cruise ship, since the city is a popular stop on Caribbean cruise lines.
