The city of Venice, Italy, is filled with grand historic architecture and the Ca' Pesaro is no exception. This 17th century Baroque palace overlooking the Grand Canal was built for the Pesaros, a family of Venetian nobles. This masterful building has three floors with a marble façade characterised by multiple columns situated around large arched windows. The interior is a masterpiece of frescoes painted by some of the finest Venetian artists. Undergoing several changes of ownership over the centuries, the Ca' Pesaro finally came to The Duchess La Masa who bequeathed it to the city as a modern art museum.

Getting to the heart of Venice can be a little slow due to having to travel by water, but this is a great excuse to relax and enjoy the slower pace. From the Marco Polo Airport guests can catch a water-bus to destinations throughout the city. Buses provide routes from the airport to Piazzale Roma, the gateway to Venice, where travellers catch a water-taxi or water-bus to various area attractions. Walking throughout Venice is pleasant, and guests can always catch water transport to the Ca' Pesaro on the Grand Canal.
