Great location, standard+ hotel

Very well located. Excellent staff. Room held the slight smell of smoking, which is supposedly not allowed in the hotel, so made it rather unpleasant. Bathroom left much to desire, not in the way of aesthetics but rather in functionality (broken toilet seat, loose floor tiles, shower water runoff everywhere on the floor, no air vents to alleviate steam buildup) … An (more or less) acceptable stay at an acceptable price.

Concert getaway

very convenient for getting to O2. The room could have been cleaned better (saucers not washed) and carpet grubby. I think the breakfast layout could be better organised too to the norm in other hotels instead of having guests carrying pots of tea about and going from one end of the room to the other. Staff friendly

hotel functional and clean

fit the purpose however TV bit old. Also had a close friend calling later that evening but the policy of locking the door after 10pm put her off as she had to call the buzzer and she felt uncomfortable doing so. Why is the main door closed so early at night?

Great Value

A small hotel - not a lot of staff but isnt an issue. Arrived with an infant and they had a cot set up without having to ask - Although we did double check the week before arriving. Room was a little tired, but was very clean and comfortable. Room faced into the street and was quiet. Convenience of access to the Dublin City Centre (is only a couple of km) by the Luas is fantastic. Pre-ordered breakfast at EUR8 (cheap) and was great. Staff were helpful. Got a great rate at average of EUR58 per night - do not think I could get any better value that close to the city centre. Supermarket next door is also excellent and open to 10pm each night. On the downside the heating seemed to be turned off during the day (middle of Winter), however we were generally out most days so wasn't too bad. Broadband Internet access to the rooms is by wired (LAN cable) connection only and is free. Wifi available in the dining room.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

If you are getting the bus to the Airport, dont hop on at the stop closest to the Hotel down by the River Liffy, rather take the Luas to the Bus Station (Busáras) and save yourself around 30mins in travel time on the bus.

The reception staff were friendly

The reception staff were friendly and efficient. Restaraunt prices were a bit steep Cleaner a bit 'hit and miss' Overall though one of the most comfortable accommodations of our three month holiday
