Brilliant

Right from the friendly staff at check in, to the high quailty food and drink. Everything was brilliant. Staff were amazing, happy and helpful. Residence bar is the one of the best I've been to in Ireland. Right down to the complimentary bottle of water when we were checking out. The ONLY place we'll stay in Cork City.

The best for a reason

From booking to checking out, we had not 1 complaint. Rooms are airy and spotlessly clean, Breakfast which we paid extra for was delicious, And just what our Trinity House rowers needed. We stayed in the front of the hotel with a balcony. it's just perfect for great views of Cork harbor. The pool is great, clean, safe and a good size. Why would you need to book anywhere else? We will stay again & again

Excellent accommodation

Our accommodation was very comfortable. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Excellent breakfast. And the Oyster Restaurant provided a delicious meal. This was our second visit. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Patrick Street and the main shopping areas. Recommended.

beautiful overnight stay

Excellent location for city center activities, staff very pleasant and helpful, hotel very clean and comfortable. Only draw back is restaurants are aisain and fish orientated but excellent alternatives 5 minutes walk away. Lack of free parking would make an extended stay a little expensive.

Great Value

Considering the quality and class of the Hotel, we found it great value for money for the price we paid. The room was large and comfortable with a modern bathroom and a large widescreen TV. The leisure center was a real treat with a fine pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The Hotel is located close to the train and bus stations and a ten to fifteen minute walk into the city center. I highly recommend the Cork Clarion Hotel.

A well located place to rest your head.

Booked this hotel for a mid-week stay on business. Overall found the hotel to be a decent enough place to stay, going back 15 years you can see this really would have been a top flight hotel but time has taken it's toll but only a little. Great location in the city and easy to find as well, the welcome was good and very helpful too. The room itself was a decent size and was reasonably cleen but some more attention wouldnt go amiss. Had a slight problem with the sound proofing as the snoring chap next door may as well have been next to me in bed. The bar downstairs was good if a little steep for a soft drink €3. Breakfast was also reasonable and if booked when checking in was €10. My main surprise came when I came to check out and had to pay €10 for parking as this was not noted anywhere in the hotel description. So when added together with the room cost, then paying extra for breakfast, then extra again for parking, it kind of put a dampner on the value overall. This said, if I could get a good deal in the future I would consider staying again.
