The Garryvoe Hotel Castlemartyr occupies an idyllic location overlooking beautiful Ballycotton Bay which is around 40 minutes east of Cork and Cork International airport. Guests have the beautiful sandy beaches of Garryvoe at their disposal and can venture to the nearby Ballynamona Beach which is superb for swimming. . Ballymoe Cookery School is just a short walk from the hotel and the historic town of Cloyne is well worth a visit.
An indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room are at guests' disposal during a stay at the Garryvoe Hotel Castlemartyr. Room service is available as well as conference rooms plus a range of business services on demand.
Nature lovers will be impressed by the Ballycotton Cliff Walk with its abundant wildlife and a visit to the Jameson Heritage Centre - a restored whiskey distillery - should definitely be on the list of places to visit. The local bar untouched by modern improvements with open fire, slate floors and a huge table thats seen better days but the regulars wont let us get rid of it.

We had a lovely time , the staff were so friendly , I love the cork accent , the situation was perfect for us. Beach walks ,cafés, restaurants a trip to cork ,midelton, fota wildlife park, and of course ballymaloe. The pool area was nice, but our
11 year old (our youngest) had to sit out and watch is swim twice cause we missed the kids swim time. She was great about it but I felt an 11 year old is different to a 4 year old and she would be capable of swimming laps. Just saying. Otherwise a perfect spot
