Bray, Ireland

Bray has been a long-established holiday area located in the verdant country of Ireland. This resort city is about 30 minutes from the city centre of Dublin and is easily accessed. Known as the “Gateway to Wicklow”, this Irish beauty hosts festivals and events regularly. Visitors will find Bray to be a tourist's dream come true filled with fun, attractions and relaxation.

Bray Climate

With a maritime climate, Bray experiences mild winters and cool summers. Temperatures do not change much; the average maximum temperature for winter is about 47°F (8°C), while for summer the daily highs are comfortable at 68°F (20°C). Rainfall is evenly dispersed throughout the year here, although fall and winter are a bit wetter.

Getting There & Around

To get to Bray, Ireland, visitors fly into the Dublin Airport. From the airport, both the DART rail network and the Iarnród Éireann rail connect to Bray. There are several bus services, taxis and an Aircoach service as well to get passengers to and from the town.

This seaside town is great for walkers. There is a popular mile-long promenade for getting around the harbour and waterfront. Rental cars and taxis can also be used for driving farther distances and exploring other areas near the town.
