Taking a holiday in Ireland can be very rewarding, especially if you can find good accommodation on your travels; so if you are heading towards County Wicklow you should look to secure yourself one of the many fine Bray hotels, to enhance your stay. This busy, long established seaside resort, is often referred to as the Gateway to Wicklow and is the ideal base, situated on the east coast, where the River Dargle enters the Irish Sea, approximately 20 kilometres south of Dublin, which is also the nearest airport to the town. Why not book now with HotelClub to enjoy our exclusive offers for our members, such a free room upgrades. Membership is free, so booking your perfect getaway is easier than ever.

If your stay in Bray falls over any weekend, then you must get yourself along to Kilruddery House and Gardens. These are wonderful in their own right, with impeccably kept lawns and beautiful plant life, acting as a marvellous backdrop to a hugely impressive 17th century Elizabethan mansion. The added bonus is that every Saturday there is a fabulous farmers market in converted stables, which is a real treat. The Mermaid Art Centre is also worthy of a visit, displaying both Irish and European works, that are as intriguing, as they are informative.

A pleasant walk to Greystones Cliffs, is spectacularly scenic; you simply have to look back at Bray Head rising nearly 250 metres above the sea, its an image that will stay with you long after your departure. Visit during July and August and you will catch the 6 week long, annual Summerfest, which features literally hundreds of free events; in music, sport and general entertainment.
