Relaxing Trip

The Pan Pacific Nirwana Hotel provided a good opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. It is a excellent hotel and many of the staff at the hotel were courteous and helpful. The trip from the airport to the hotel, however, was long and tiring and I arrived 1 hour before the check in time of 3.00 pm. The check in staff, however, did not show any flexibility when I requested for an early check in at 2.00 pm . I was informed that the room was not available. My family and I were made to wait past 3.00 pm when the room was finally cleaned and made available. The next day, I learned that the hotel had only a 50 occupancy. The staff, therefore, could have allotted a room but did not want to do it. I was dissatisfied with that level of service.

Absolutely fantastic

If you go to Bali for party, street shopping or simply get drunk, Pan Pacific is NOT for you! However, if you prefer a relaxing, hassle free, ocean front, luxurious holiday in Bali, consider to stay there... We stayed in a ocean view suite, it s huuuugggeee... great facilities, super attentive staff member at club lounge. No need to go out of the resort, there simply has everything: PGA golf court, five-star restaurants and bars, VIP club, local temple tour, rice planting activities.. we did all! ... Only downside is that the hotel is about 1 hour drive from airport, so if you land in Bali pretty late (we landed around 10pm), by the time you go through custom then travel to hotel, it would be after midnight. If you could arrange an earlier flight, Pan Pacific is just a perfect option.

Simply stunning view

My stay at pan pacific is simply fantastic. I initially booked the cheapest room which is deluxe garden view with no breakfast. After reading the reviews and much consideration, I decided to pay a bit more for pacific club with complimentary drinks and light snacks throughout . It is definitely worth it . I thoroughly enjoyed sipping rose wine while watching the sunset in the pacific lounge . I strongly suggest any of you to do so as well as there are not many food choices available outside the resort. Since breakfast is not provided in the basic room package , it is definitely worth while to upgrade. The view of tanah lot is simply spectacular. I simply enjoy my morning walk around the resort . The gym facilities is limited and look outdated . The only setback is that The overall hotel furnishings look old and tired . Nonetheless, I enjoyed myself very much and would be back again.

Sama Sama

This has been our favourite holiday destination for many years now and can highly recommend for all travellers, particularly golfers. The resort is very busy lately due to the number of people on special package deals but still very enjoyable with a lot of families enjoying the hotel and kids facilities. Bonus if you are a keen golfer.

A Lovely resort but very far away

A Lovely resort but very far away from the tourist spots. The golf course is very well maintained with scenic view. Food in the resort is very expensive (about 2-3x the price in Kuta, Legian or Nusa Dua) and is not tasty. The BBQ dinner and buffet breakfast is lousy. Staff were friendly and attentive. The resort is clean but dated, needs renovation. We were there for 2 nights and the resort was filled with PRC national tourists who were most inconsiderate, they littered and spilt everywhere they go. I won’t recommend staying in this hotel if you are not a golfer. We booked a dulex pool view and was upgraded to a Junior Suite, however the hotel didn't send us the daily papers as promised.

The hotel is very much self contained

The hotel is very much self contained located in a vast area in Tanah Lot district with big pool, spa, 4 restaurants to choose from. The most impressive would be the golf course and gym was good too with several equipments. Staff were helpful, spoke very good english , and they even threw in wireless internet for free. The only issue we had would be the distance from to get from Pan Pac to almost anywhere else, it would take at least 45mins. If you wish water rafting, Ubud, Volcanoe, or Sanur etc..that will easily eat into 1 - 2hrs travelling time. The Spa looked really nice, but the price was not, although tempting, you can definately get a better deal elsewhere. If the intention is to get away to hibernate in a resort hotel for chilling, this one's for you. If you are into sightseeing, night out in Kuta, you may want to choose a more central hotel

If you want to escape the hustle

If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of a very busy Bali, then this is the resort for you. 45 mins to an hour drive from the airport, the resort is located on top of a cliff overlooking Tanah Lot temple and situated in pristine gardens. Facilities are great with numerous pools and loungers to choose from and you feel you're in the real Bali. Downsides include pricey food and drink options (priced at 5 star for a 4 star hotel), over-priced and poorly serviced day spa and not enough dining options. This will improve with time now that the Pan Pacific has taken over. we had a great time and will certainly go back. However we will do our research and see what cafes or warungs were near by for cheaper and more diverse eating options.
