Found halfway between Budapest and Vienna, Győr is one of the most vital cities in northwest Hungary. It is the capital of the Győr-Moson-Sopron County. Káptalan Hill is the heart of the city and the meeting place of the Rába, Danube, and Rábca rivers. The city features an array of Gothic, Romanesque, and Baroque styles of architecture, evident in the Gothic Dóczy Chapel built in the fifteenth century.
