Didn't disappoint

We booked this hotel only when we arrived at Hong Kong. It's not difficult to find, but it takes good understanding of Hong Kong streets to navigate around. There's also an express bus that takes you to central where you can find nice food, plenty of shopping malls and most importantly: Lam Kwai Fong. The comfort level of the hotel is satisfactory of a typical hotel in land-scarce Hong Kong. When we laid down two of our gigantic check-in luggages, there's barely space to walk. I advise claustrophobic people to think twice. Even though we were provided breakfast, we didn't manage to catch the timing. The bed was very much comfortable and we lazed in it all morning. Wifi is also catered for individual rooms. However, the sound-proofing is paper thin. I could hear conversations of the people staying next to us. Do keep your volume low if you're going to discuss confidential matters. Overall, it's an average stay at the hotel, nothing spectacular, but affordable especially if you are trying to find a hotel at Central and near the Harbour.

Great price, decent location, noisy

My wife and I found that the hotel met our need for a clean, comfortable place to stay in an affordable location at a great price. The only downside was the sound of street traffic -- bring your earplugs if noise bothers you.

Small Bath, not friendly staff.

on 9/08, the room i got is quite small, especially the bathroom, barely fit in to do shower. 9/22, the flight was canceled due to typhoon and HK airport was shutdown, but the hotel refused to reschedule my booking or refund me, from my experience, they only want the $, anyway, not a recommanded place to stay in HK.

Not near MTR station but luckily

Not near MTR station but luckily there is a tram service to the teahouse. Two minute walk. The staffs were friendly and helpful.(we leave our laggage there for five days cause travel light to Macau, and asked for direction when not so sure. All have been answered) Great job Bridal Tea House. Keep it up. I actually did stay in another Bridal Tea House in Sum Shui Po two years ago. Same standard, that's why I chose the same chain when I'm in HongKong.

the location of the hotel is very

the location of the hotel is very good. very near to TRAM, also going to Macau is an ease since Shun Tak centre is quite near as well. the rooms are quite small but they are OK with the price, and since we are out of the hotel all day, it doenst matter. The place is quite clean.

The Bridal Tea House was a great

The Bridal Tea House was a great hotel. I had read reviews that complained about the size of the rooms, and the room I stayed in was just large enough for the two beds and the bathroom and not much more, but then again, it's reasonable for the price charged - and anyway, if you're going to Hong Kong just to stay in your room all day, you really are missing out!! PS - Hotel Club needs to correct the address on the booking form - it;s 385-387 Queen's Road West - on the junction of Queens Road West and Water Street. Taxi drivers are not the cleverest people in Hong Kong!!

The place was quite nice and in

The place was quite nice and in a good location (not too near the city centre but not too far away), so it was a shame that little things, like providing more teabags, were not done. We found the common microwave on the landing quite handy. We were not aware that a $HK500 deposit was required for the room key, which was only returned on check out. For people on a stopover, it was a bit of a hassle having that much cash at the end of the stay. I would recommend the place as it was good value for money.
