One of the most historical theatres in Germany, Prinzregententheater is located in the Bavarian section of Munich. Opened in 1901, the theatre is home to a host of shows, such as operas, concerts, and musicals. Those wishing to see a show at the popular Munich theatre need to purchase tickets quickly as the building seats just over 1,100 people. During the shows, the theatre serves light snacks and drinks. The building also houses another smaller theatre, the Academy Theatre, which seats 300. Additionally, the Prinzregententheater is home to the Bavarian Theatre Academy.
- Photograph the Prinzregententheater's exterior from any of Munich's side streets as the building provides lenses with an impressive bold structure and nearly flawless landscape.
- Attend one of several operas, concerts, musicals, or theatrical shows the Prinzegententheater has to offer. Be sure to purchase tickets early because due to its size, the theatre often sells out.
- Be sure to take a tour inside the theatre as the pride of Munich's exquisite interior is nearly as impressive as its bold exterior.
Munich, Germany has one of the best public transportation systems in all of Europe. Though it's located outside of most major areas, the U Bahn light rail and the city bus services the area. Taxicabs are also aplenty in the area, and all service the Prinzregententheater. Most cab drivers are very knowledgeable of the city; therefore, they can provide passengers with entertainment and dining recommendations. However, Munich is considered one of Germany's most walkable cities. Whilst walking provides great exercise, it is also a fantastic way to witness the city's wonderful sites.
