Erotic Museum hotels
The Erotic Museum, also known as the Beate Uhse Erotic Museum, is a sex museum situated in the Charlottenburg district of Berlin, Germany. The Erotic Museum was opened in 1996 by Beate Uhse, who also started the world’s first sex shop in 1962. The Erotic Museum is one of the most unique museums in the world, as it contains early erotic art from Asia and Europe as well as a collection of early pornographic films. Although some of the “erotica” is tame by today’s standards, the Erotic Museum is an important glimpse into the history of sex in art.
- Attend Ladies Night at the Erotic Museum in Berlin and expert consultants will show the latest and greatest sex toys and accessories in a fun and playful exhibition.
- See sex education information that was painted on tiles and canvas at the Asian exhibit at the Erotic Museum, a great way to learn how sex education has evolved throughout the world.
- Go to the dark side whilst in Berlin and visit the S&M exhibit at the Erotic Museum, where you will see an interesting exploration into the world of whips and leather.
Berlin has one of the best public transportation systems in the world, so it is easy to get to the Erotic Museum from just about anywhere in the city. The easiest way to get there is to simply take the S-Bahn or U-Bahn and get off at the Zoological Gardens station, just a short walk away from the museum. There are also four lines of the Zoo Bus that travel near the Erotic Museum, so you should have no problem getting there. There is no on-site parking, so it is best to use public transport.
