Lobkowicz Palace hotels
Lobkowicz Palace is the only privately owned property within the Prague Castle complex. The building has stood through time and turmoil, taken from the Lobkowicz family by Emperor Rudolph II, then occupied by the Nazis, then claimed by the communist regime before returned after a lengthy legal petition. The Lobkowicz Palace Museum, part of the National Gallery, proudly displays Czech Baroque art. Visitors may relax in the quaint café, enjoy a classical concert, purchase goods at the museum shop, or attend other special events within the original and restored rooms of the Renaissance-era palace.
- Enjoy the works of Bach, Dvorak, Smetana, and more with a daily classical music performance at the Baroque Concert Hall at 1:00pm.
- Sip on tea or coffee and delight in an outdoor lunch at the café on the ground floor of Lobkowicz Palace whilst enjoying a beautiful view of the Prague.
- Listen to an audio tour narrated by Lobkowicz family members whilst browsing the 22 rooms of artefacts housed within the museum at the Prague Castle complex.
Most visitors arrive at the nearby Prague Airport. Guests may then take a taxi, bus, or metro service from the airport to most popular locations within the city. The metro green line, or line A, stops at the Malostranska station, just a few metres from Lobkowicz Palace. If travelling by tram, guests should stop at the Prague Castle station. Lobkowicz Palace is located at the crest of the Old Castle Steps, just through the castle gate. There is no parking for private cars near the palace, so guests are encouraged to explore the area on foot or via public transit.
