The Croatian island of Brac has a lot to offer tourists who enjoy beaches and outdoor activities like hiking, mountain climbing and cave exploration; there are also museums and historic buildings to please sightseers who visit this beautiful Adriatic island. The warmest months for Brac are July and August when temperatures exceed 24°C, and this is the driest time of year as well. Winters are rainy and cold with lows around 0°C from December to February. The island averages 2,600 hours of sunshine annually.
Getting There & Around
Split (mainland Croatia) has an international airport, and there are regular ferries from here to Bol and Supetar on Brac Island. There is a train station on the mainland as well, and buses run from city to city on the island.
