Really nice if you want to stay in WangFuJing

I stayed in 3 hotels over my stay in Beijing. I stayed a very very nice hotel which wasn't near WangFuJing, and I stayed in a cheaper hotel that was in WangFuJing. So my verdict is that this is a very nice hotel with great service and quite a class building - rooftop bar is cool and I especially loved the Jazz in the lounge during the evening - that was awesome! So I think you pay extra to stay in Wangfujing but this place is worth it if that's what you want!

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Jazz in the lobby!! Also, have a look at the lobby of the Legendale down the road! If you haven't been warned already, be wary of girls coming up to you on Wangfujing asking you to go with them for a beer/coffee to practice their English. From what i've heard, you end up with a giant bill and even if you "split" it, you still end up in a pretty bad situation.

A Great Beijing Hotel

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful hotel. The location was perfect for us. Within walking distance to The Forbidden City and numerous shopping areas. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We hired a car to and from the airport which was well worth the money.

Central and friendly

Beijing is a large city, but this property was fairly close to most things I wanted to see, and the staff were always great to me. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a cake on my birthday!

Luxurious Couples Break

Could not fault this hotel, it was wonderful in every way. We upgraded to the Club which gave us breakfast, afternoon tea and happy hour with snacks in the evening. Food in Club and also restaurants was very high quality. Staff spoke English well and were really helpful even when not using the hotels services. We had deluxe king room, bed was very comfortable and room had every need. Hotel was close to the Metro and department store on the corner had a great food hall. Close walk to the Forbidden City and Wangfujing Shopping Mall

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Forbidden City near hotel. Watch out for scammers with bike rickshaws who get you onboard for 3Yuan to take you to Tienaman Square and then tell you you're too heavy and put you on 2 bikes, take you into the alleyways, drop you off then try and get 300Yuan each off you!! Just walk away and pay them about 10Y each.
