Lama Temple hotels
Located in the historic city of Beijing, the one-and-only Lama Temple is by far one of the country’s most memorable lamaseries, representing Beijing’s very oldest building of its kind. Visitors by the thousands return to this holiday destination every year to admire what was once the residing headquarters of Prince Yin Zhen. Built in 1694 at the peak of the Qing Dynasty, the temple was once the residence, as well, for court eunuchs before later enjoying well-known statuses as the Yonghe Temple, or Palace of Peace and Harmony Lama Temple, which it presently maintains Visitors to this breathtaking temple will travel through more than 300 years of Chinese history displayed to them by one-of-a-kind architecture and murals.
