Nice, romantic hideout in the center of Montreal

Stylish boutique hotel with a great location (near Chinatown, Ste Catherine Palais des Festivals and old Montreal). A very nice place to spend the week-end for a couple. I liked the decorations and design concept.

Three days in Montreal

Hotel had a modern look in foyer and rooms. Our room on 11th floor had small kitchette incl microwave which was great. Breakfast was incl, not relaxing very frantic did not enjoy. Location is a bit of a walk from shopping centre - about 10/15 mins also from old Montreal but plenty to see on the way. Only criticism, the towels were small, old and thin. Mentioned it to staff on checkout, she advised they had just upgraded towels, must have missed our room.. All in all an enjoyable stay

Great modern hotel!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Zero 1. The location was very convenient, only a short walk to the old town or the metro. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. The rooms are on the small side but are modern and stylish with all the amenities you need. Wifi was free and fast. Note that the beds all seem to be doubles and not queen size so not ideal if you're tall! Overall, a great stay and I would recommend to others.

good location

Easy walk through Chinatown down to Old Montreal and some of the iconic places in Montreal. Long walk from the CBD though. Nice room, spoilt by being kept awake by noises from the floor above. Could hear them walking and everything they dropped or moved. Free coffee and muffins for breakfast a nice touch,

Great location, fun hotel

Stayed over Labour Day weekend for fun. Hotel was near everything fun(Metro, Plateau, Chinatown, Village). 747 Airport Bus Stop right outside. Wi-Fi is super fast and free, which both are rare these days. During the weekend a repelling club was scaling down the exterior wall from the roof like Batman. Hotel is hip and designed as such. If you're not a fan of such hotels (Kipton, W, Aloft, etc.) there is a Travelodge across the street. Rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. Hotel is short on amenities (like a pool, bar, food service, etc.). But consider this a service to you - it's Montreal, go out and have fun.

Modern hotel with great location

The layout of the room and the positioning of the furniture need to be improved, the bed faces the main door into the room and bathroom. Lighting was not great and the ambience requires some improvements. Would appreciate it if they had a TV guide in the room. However, it has a small kitchenette and a microwave equipped with cutleries etc which comes in handy. Bathroom amenities were sufficient. Room was also very clean. Will definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.

loved it

A really interesting and chic decor, in a fairly central location downtown, super helpful staff, comfy beds, comfy rooms with a mini fridge, microwave, sink, utensils, plates, bowls, cups (perfect if you just want to heat up some leftovers, snack on cheese and fruit, drink wine in the room) continental breakfast is only served till 9, and then you'll have to trek out to find some food. But other than that, I had a really nice stay at this hotel, and would definitely come back.
