Disappointing

You would think that a hotel that is 4* Hotel in the city of toronto would be spot on! Wrong. Turn up, staff wre welcoming, but as it is our anniversary I had sent an email to ask for restaurant recommendations and if they could give us a good room. They didn't get it as all emails to the hotel on their email address is sent to central processing. Ok so no big deal. went into the room, bathroom was full of mould! Black all over the tiles, so we asked to move, kindly they gave us a room and offered to give us a little something to make up for it and a bottle of wine. Moved rooms and that was not much better so we asked to move again! Not much better but hey no choice as apparently this was the best of what they had available and the rest were worse than this room. So as it was our anniversary and we had the wine i thought lets have a glass, not being picky here but you have got to choose better wine. We then went for breakfast, to see if it was worth us paying for it, and trust me it was not! It was in a meeting room with tacky tables and not much on offer but some pastries... Now i did mention that they kindly offered us a little something, up until checkout we didnt get a thing. Overall the experience was not great, and if you are paying this much for the hotel then stay else where as I honestly dont think it is worth it, and it is not a 4* hotel.

My wife and I had made reservations

My wife and I had made reservations at the Cosmopolitan but my wife broke her ankle a week before we were to arrive. I contacted the hotel and told them my wife is now in a wheel chair and could they accommodate her. They up-graded our room to a suite, which was much larger, at no extra charge. The staff at the Cosmopolitan is the most friendly we have ever encountered. They will go to any lengths to make your stay "a stay you will remember". We highly recommend the Cosmopolitan and will return in the future.

Nice hotel, very good location (subway station 1 min, many attractions e.g. CN Tower, in walking distance). Very well equipped (with a full kitchen, washing machine) and really spacious room.
