Great family trip

Good place for leisure trip. Staff were very helpful, including the robot. Good restaurants in the local area and the hotel cafe served fresh hot food. Queues at reception were a bit of a nuisance but the hotel was full.

Weekend Away

The staff was cordial, but a bit standoffish. Overall, very nice. I managed to lock myself out of my room, security was super quick and very kind getting me back into my room. I was disappointed when I asked for a room high up, facing the street, I was told that would require an upgrade. No thanks. LOL The room was actually larger than some of the Toronto hotels I've visited in the past.

Awesome E-Club

Really enjoyed how the staff in the e-club lounge were not only helpful in every aspect but also friendly. It really is worth spending the extra money to have breakfast and dinner in the e-club members only lounge, tip Sushi night is the best and there eggs Benedict are fabulous.

Noisy hotel

The hotel and rooms are a bit old...Noisy hotel and lobby, only three (at some times only two) elevators were working (out of 6). During night time you will hear everyone talking in the hallway...

Overnight trip

Booked the hotel for an overnight trip to see a show in Toronto. Came by train, was easy to get to from Union Station to College Station. The hotel is only a couple of blocks south for the subway station. Hotel Lobby is very nice and open, has several eating options on the main floor. Check in was simple enough and assigned a room on the 9th floor. The hotel room wasn't overly fancy by any means, but pleasing enough. Room was clean, bathroom had a tub/shower. The room had a desk and chair in front of the wall in front of the bed, which also had the TV, two night tables on each side of the bed and closet with hangers for your clothes. Overall the stay was nice and convenient for my purposes, would definitely consider staying here again.

Disappointing on arival

We as a family has used this hotel several times for family getaways, one of the most important reasons why we stay here is for the kids pool and water slide. On checking in to this hotel I come to find out the kids pool and water slide is closed for renovations. This was very disheartening for myself and my wife and extremely disappointing for my children, the gentlemen at the front desk asked why I was so upset as he figured I was aware of this, I had told him we new nothing about this what's so ever with booking with EBates, nothing was mentioned to us at all or on any of our paper work from EBates. The gentlemen said that EBates is suppose to make all customers aware of the pool renovation. If we would have known this ahead of time we would have made different arrangements as this was a special weekend away for my sons Birthday. I would definitely stay with this hotel again as we have several ocasions but EBates really needs to be clear with there customers on filling them in with these importanpt details, if you have kids and put yourself in the same situation you will know what I mean.

Time for a re-do

Had a generally good experience but "the old lady" needs a facelift. You must be spending a fortune on water just from the old style large cistern toilets! Doors and windows are old and getting leaky. Time for a re-do for sure.

Dirty and cold

If you're looking for dirty socks that are left in your room from the last visitor and then in your next room it is uncomfortably cold because the windows are not able to properly seal then this is your kind of hotel. Overpriced as well!! Worst hotel I've ever stayed at in Toronto.
