Casa Loma hotels
An epic Canadian mansion that played a role in World War II, Casa Loma is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Sir Henry Mill Pellatt, a financial guru and military leader, built the Gothic Revival manor in 1911. Sir Pellatt himself rose through the ranks to become Commanding Officer of the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada. During World War II Casa Loma served as a facility for the development and construction of U-boat detection equipment. X-Men and The Pacifier, are among the movies filmed here. The home also masqueraded as the magical academy of Hogwarts while hosting a movie release party.
