Good, but some issues

Pros: Rooms are big and deluxe rooms have nice balconies. The location is good - a supermarket across the road and a short walk to good restaurants. The bustle of pub street and the old market is a bit further away - a good 10 mins walk. The pool is lovely - big, cool and salt water so really relaxing after a day at the temples Cons: staff are friendly but their English is limited (and French non existent) leading to some issues when ordering in the restaurant and at the front desk. Concierge wasn't great and my parents were sent on a tour that wasn't what they wanted. The restaurant is convenient of course, but the food isn't great and breakfast gets repetitive. Beds are VERY hard as others have noted!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Avoid the hotel restaurant and head to Indochine (or Nest) which are within a 3 minute walk and have far more authentic food which is also cheaper. Service is also great in both places.

Enjoyed this hotel and location

I thought this hotel wasvery convenient and enjoyed the food and atomsphere. Staff was very accomodating and attentive. Room was a bit dated and the beds appear harder than they are when you actually sleep on them.

Shopping tip: Long walk from hotel

The night market offers little that you would not find at any attraction around Siem Reap. Cheap t-shirts, bags, wood carvings. etc. I found most things could be had for 30% of what was asked in the better shops. Less sometimes from street vendors. Best bargaining tactic is to just walk away and see what number is thrown at you. Many times it is simply a yes to what you offered, so come in low.

In the centre of town, so close

In the centre of town, so close to shops & markets, and with easy access to the temples. Very good breakfast & service, but has a restaurant that has to be accessed via a staircase - could be a problem for some people.

Good location. Staff were kind, except at the gym. We were told to wait 10min. to get the steam room ready. Waiting there but it did not get wam. The staff there did not station and we had to wait being cold to inform. After waiting long, he finally said it was out of order! As his English was poor, it was difficult to communicate and we wasted our time. Overall, We enjoyed our stay there. It was good value for money!

This is a high-grade hotel with

This is a high-grade hotel with the lowest "official" room rate US$180 for a single. The rate I paid thanks to [this website] was a fraction of that & included a brilliant breakfast & free internet (though the latter was of erratic quality & frustrating). The hotel staff were helpful and friendly.
