The Schatzkammer museum is housed inside of the beautiful Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria. As one of the most interesting museums in Vienna, it is home to an amazing collection of national treasures, relics, and priceless crown jewels that were acquired by the Habsburg dynasty over a period of nearly 1,000 years. The Schatzkammer makes up part of the Imperial Treasury of Vienna and features twenty-one rooms, each with a collection of truly priceless artefacts. This spectacular collection is a must-see for anyone interested in the cultural history of Vienna.

Vienna has a smart system of transportation that makes it easy to get to the Schatzkammer from just about any location within the city. The best way to the museum is to take the U3 subway line to the Herrengasse station. From the station, the museum is just about three hundred metres away by foot. There are also several bus lines that stop in front of the Schatzkammer, so visitors should have no problem arriving via public transportation. It is worth paying a bit extra for the audio tour to learn about the relics.
