The Kursalon is an opulent building that acts as the choice setting for classical music and dance in Vienna, Austria. The building was first constructed between 1865 and 1867 in the historicist style of the Italian Renaissance. The Kursalon quickly became the home for musical entertainment after Johann Strauss put on a concert there in 1868. After undergoing many renovations the site has remained an important venue for music and dance and is the centrepiece of the Stadtpark district. This splendid concert hall with its ornate archways has become one of the cultural symbols of the city.
- Enjoy an amazing dinner and a night of uplifting waltzes, polkas, arias and duets at one of the Kursalon’s “Strauss and Mozart Evenings” a great way to enjoy the music and cuisine of Vienna.
