Perfect Location for a family get together

We had a great few days on Scarborough's beachfront staying at Seashells. The apartment was light and airy, clean and modern. The location was perfect and I highly recommend staying here. I should mention that we had family members staying in the Sandcastles building in a 3 bed apartment, which was also very good, but I thought the 2 bed superior we stayed in was slightly more upmarket. Would go back.

Family & frends

We were so impressed with the location. The room was extra clean and staff were wonderful. We were not too happy with our sheets being changed and apartment cleaned the day before we left though. If this was done in the middle of our stay it would have been a much better idea. We also would have preferred to be notified before hand as one couple had there clothes laid out on the bed ready to be packed that night and came home to find them thrown in the corner on the floor. The other couples pyjamas was also thrown on the floor. A few doors etc did not close properly and water came up from the floor in one bathroom. These were very minor things but should not be left unattended. Otherwise a fantastic stay in Perth had by all and we highly recommend staying at the Seashells.

Be aware

They have two facilities side by side. The one I was placed - no lift, outside limited parking nothing like the description or photos. The unit was old & tired needs maintenance. Furniture not that clean. Location great but better resorts to choose in the same location. When I expressed my concern I was told I hadn't booked through them so take it up with the booking site. Very unhelpful.

Clean Hotel with great location

Room and property was very clean. Noticed a leaking dishwasher and dripping taps on the first night. They were fixed promptly the next day. Location is great, but street noise can get louder on weekends. Overall had a great time and accommodation was well appointed and comfortable.

Happy foursome

These 2 BR apartments are in a great location off the coast road through Scarborough. As a result the only sound is the surf on the beach opposite. The units are clean, modern, and the kitchen /dining and lounge areas are big enough for 4 persons to use comfortably. A car rental is advisable as public transport is slow and infrequent. On site parking is adequate and does not cost extra. Split 2 ways, the cost is very reasonable. Enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun set into the Indian Ocean.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The shopping area is a mere 200 metres and includes a large super-market and liquor store. There are a couple of fast-food shops that do good fish and chips. Buy some smoked salmon and prawns from the deli at the super-market and enjoy with a crisp riesling from Margaret River.
