Lovely romantic night for 2

From the moment we first met the friendly staff on arrival, to the assistance with any questions or help we required, the service was impeccable. The room was sumptuously cozy, well presented & the amenities were 1st class. All meal options were fantastic with choice of quality restaurants through to amazing room service at all hours..Will we be returning? - you bet ya!

Best Hotel in Perth

I love staying at the Crown Metropol ( formerly InterContinental ) whenever I am in town. But I must say that I think the weekend rates are overpriced. I would expect Valet or breakfast to be included if you are paying between 500-700 per night for a standard room. In saying that, it is a beautiful hotel with great amenities for people of all ages. On my most recent visit I noticed The Hub which is an enclosed playroom for children that overlooks the pool. A great new feature for families. The many restuarants at the Crown are amazing and the night life/casino are great. If you are on a tighter budget I would recommend The Crown Promenade, it is a great hotel too and its at the same location.

dissapointing from start to finish

We thought that staying at the hotel woulf have included under cover parking but we found out at check out the it was another $25.00 for parking. The book in staff did not advise us where the elevators were to get to our room s owindered around looking for them. The luxe vies as advertised was a veiw of new hotel rooms under constructiob on the crown site. What a con for what I paid $408.00 for the room. James Packer is a billionaire but still 1.6 if you pay for anything with acredit card the localdeli doesn't charge. Another rip off.The smorgasboard at the complex charged $75.00 a head for over cooked food that a cook could have cooked better than so called chefs. Sorry I have no positives about the stay at all and in fact put me off the whole complex.

Looking for Luxury

The Crown Metropole was absolute luxury. The room was lovely and spacious, the bathroom one of our best ever... Large bath and separate shower, and the bed was very comfortable. The Atruim restaurant served a great buffet breakfast and dinner catering for all nationalities and tastes. The range was unbelievable. The shuttle to the station made it a quick and easy way to the city. The only downside was the late housekeeping as our room wasn't made up until about 4.00 in the afternoon.

Very good facility for business trips

The hotel is top end for quality and service, but unfortunately like a lot of Perth hotels over-priced, similar hotels elsewhere in Aust are $50 - $100 / night less. Valet parking way to dear ($50 / night), and it takes too long for the car to be delivered. Excellent dining options, but again some are over priced, the Bar scene is great due to the proximity of the Casino, but the lobby bar, because of it's position lacks atmosphere, and the air-cond is always too cold and you can feel the air blowing on you.
