Getting There & Around
Visitors can reach Karratha via flights from Perth Airport to Karratha Airport. The Broome International Airport, located in Broome, also provides flights to Karratha. Although Broome is closer, most choose to fly from Perth to the city.
The airport is about 14 km (9 miles) from Karratha, and there are various forms of transportation for visitors to choose from to reach their accommodations. Taxis, hired cars and shuttle buses get visitors to their accommodations in the city. When exploring and driving through the Outback, it is important to remember that there some areas that are remote or isolated.
