Dunsborough is a coastal town located in the southwestern portion of Western Australia. Found about 254 km south of the state’s capital, Perth, this town has been and continues to be a popular destination for locals and foreigners to explore. Dunsborough experiences a Mediterranean climate in which the weather is enjoyable all year round. The average annual maximum temperature is 22°C, while the minimum is 11°C; summers, December to February, are generally hot with temperatures reaching up to 30°C. Winters start in June and last to September with cooler temperatures of 10-16°C.
Getting There & Around
Dunsborough is served by the Perth Airport. From the airport, visitors will then need to take a long-distance bus with either TransWA or South West Coach Lines to reach the town.
Upon arrival in town, visitors can take various forms of transportation to explore the region. Rental cars, buses, boats and 4WD tours are just some of the forms of transport in and around the town. With so many choices, travellers can discover the southwest region of Australia however they choose.
