Great weekend getaway for Mothers Day

We had a lovely weekend in Busselton staying at The Sebel. The studio spa room was lovely clean and roomy. Small kitchen area was equipped with the basics, which included a microwave and kettle. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff do a great job. Other than this our only complaint would be the secure parking. We got a card to leave on the dash with the room number as it appears there is only one bay per room , however on our return from dinner on Saturday evening the secure parking area near our room was full to overflowing. Our room was the first one near the gate and we watched 3 cars go through the gate when only one room card was scanned for entry. For a quiet room ask for one not at the front near the road or the gate. Even with double glazing the comings and goings of guests and overflow parking below made the room a little noisy. Having said this we would probably stay again at this hotel but ask for a quiet room. We have stayed here before and it was lovely and quiet in the middle of the resort complex. Great weekend even if it did rain a little.

Family get together

We had problems finding it as it has changed its name to Sebel not Grand Mercure as on our booking. Apartment was good and the pool area was excellent.

Relaxing Break

The room was amazing! The small but functional kitchen was a bonus. The bathroom was huge with a spa. We would come again no problem!

could have done better

Facilities and comfort were good, but it was 8k to the centre of town where most of the food places were. Also no breakfast available unless cook own. Free internet was only available in office.

Good resort complex but away from town facilities

Stayed only for 2 nights but they gave us an upgrade to a nice 3 bed room. Did not use the resort facilities because we spent our time mainly in the Margaret River wineries. Nice part of the world.Staff were helpful nand friendly.

Excellent tourist base.

Very good. Regular servicing of apartment. Over sensitive smoke alarms ..... the toaster sets off the alarm. Bedside lamps need to be higher to allow reading in bed.

Good for emergency stop

Had a little difficulty with the check-in process as a deposit was requested. Ty\his has never happened before when staying in any large or small hotel/motel/chain. Sure an imprint of credit card, but no actual deposit. Further if I paid the deposit by eftpos the money would be refunded next day, if used credit card then refund would take 5-7days!!! Obviously used eftpos.

Had a fantastic stay. Swam in the heated pool while it was raining and cold outside . The room was very comfortable with everything you needed for the family . Loved the spa and would definitley stay for a longer period next time.
