Good and Cheap

Don't know what I was really expecting for $73 per night but it wasn't much. I guess we cannot complain, made our holiday that much cheaper and we only really slept in the room. Great location just a little lack luster and needs a sprucing up on the4 inside to bring it back up to a nice standard. Maybe if they added a decent size bed it would have been nicer?? Just saying.....

A perfect location to relax

Grounds were beautiful backing onto beach. We upgraded our room as it was not what we expected more like a dormitory. The upgrade room was much better apart from the shower. Spinnakers restaurant was very welcoming. Rooms could all benefit from some much needed maintenance

Go to The Kent Street Bakery in fig tree lane. Cakes, pies etc tasty and value for money. Be careful parking in town shops and streets limited to 2 hours and it is policed.

RELAXING AND CONVENIENT RESORT

We stayed here for two nights in a Villa, which was clean and well appointed. The car park was close to our villa, but some are further away, ask when booking. The indoor pool was warm and relaxing, and there were ducks everywhere. One small criticism is there was no light above the bathroom mirror so it was dark to shave, wash etc. However good staff and a relaxing place to stay.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

The sunsets are good if there is cloud about, from the Busselton jetty or the west cost, about 20 minutes away. Also there are numerous breweries and wineries nearby.

Basic Comfort, Great Location

The 2 bedroom villa was clean and quite comfy. No oven in the kitchen which was unexpected. Queen mattress very firm & comfortable. Hot water system difficult to regulate and dangerous to leave children in shower on their own; despite following instructions in bathroom the water cycles from boiling hot to freezing cold! Pool quite small & very disappointing to only have 4 loungers in there which meant I often had to sit on paving to supervise my children. Restaurant service not the best, we were seated then forgotten about with no menus despite me making a booking. Food OK. Not sure if we will return!

hidden gem at busso

As part of a group of 4 that stayed at this place we were pleasantly surprised. Well set out, it is constructed keeping the pepper trees between the villas to give it the natural look. After doing the Phuket thing, where the beaches are inaccessible, expensive and not really usable, it was refreshing to see a path to the beach. To top it off the staff were friendly, the pools good and it was silent. Given half a chance we will holiday there again!

best part is cost

Whilst the cost was good for 3 nights the room is very basic needs to be updated. Very old small tv. Hospitality was good and this resort could be better if rooms upgraded. People traveling to the area want to relax particularly when wet weather and the room lacked appeal to want to stay in doors even when raining. Disappointed as we have stayed years ago in the villas which seem better.
