Relaxing stay

A great place to just relax...which is what we wanted. The staff were lovely and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable with mini kitchen and spa in studio room. Many amenities and activities within the grounds and the beach at your doorstep. Nice dining areas but rather expensive. The free Wi-Fi in the lobby was disappointing as it did not work all the time or on particular devices. Overall a good location and nice place to stay.

Good

Abbey beach resort is in walking distance to a couple of local shops so getting last minute items is easy. It takes about 40 minutes to drive to Margaret River and is a nice drive. Lots of great places to stop at on the way. The facilities at the resort are good, except the outdoor pool was dirty and unable to be used. The inside pool was good, but had a lot of people at certain times. No Wifi in the rooms is the biggest let down, although I did read they were working on doing something with this during the year.

Idealic Location & Surround Gardens.

We live in Perth and we came down to Busselton with some friends from Canada. The resort is beautifully laid out and very well maintained. We chose the 2brm 2bth 1st floor apartment overlooking the calm seas which was just magic. Our friends just loved it. The resort has an indoor big pool and two outside pools plus a gym. Very good value for money. There was no WIFI available which caused us some stress but the resort is working on that apparently. We would certainly recommend Abbey Beach Resort but make sure you book an apartment and not the hotel rooms.

Unexpected disappointment

The hype that the advertising explained for this establishment was what I found. The place was run down, the staff while being helpful lacked a certain professional approach. The food and beverages were lacking and the experience is one I won't want to repeat.
