Weekend Getaway

Hotel and resort was excellent. Thai Restaurant served 3 dishes with all the same sauce and wasn't cheap! That was the only disappointing bit. Location is great and facilities were wonderful.

Perfect resort in paradise

Located in front of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, this 5-star resort certainly delivers on all fronts: rooms, amenities, staff, food and attractions offered. My favorite resort now.

Ultimate relaxation

Stayed a couple of years ago and this visit was just as wonderful.Lovely to be welcomed with a glass of bubbly! The resort is lovely and quiet, having the choice of a Cable Beach swim or lie around the (adults only!)pool is fabulous, Sunset Bar experience at sunset is magical. Staff (most from overseas) are all great. Club Restaurant meal faultless, highly recommended. The history is interesting, gardens stunning with animals -wallabies I think, grazing in front of the room and goannas and birds enjoying the ponds giving a country and tropical feel.Enjoyable trip to Chinatown on the courtesy bus.

Absolutely Perfect and Highly Recommended!

We couldnt be happier with Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa! The hotel and amenities were perfect and extremely clean! The staff couldnt do enough to help us with anything and they were always happy and polite. The food in the restaurants was amazing also, especially the fish of ours that we caught and they cooked for us! Absolute perfection! Cannot wait to go back again.

Wonderful relaxing holiday!

Fabulous resort in a great location, and great to have a child-free area for those getting away from little ones! Loved being in a Pool Terrace room and just chilling out on the sun bed, going for dips in the pool, and drinking cocktails. Restaurant and bar prices are very high - that could be made more palatable by at least offering a 'happy hour'.

Have breakfast, lunch or dinner - and the obligatory Ginger or Mango Beer - on the verandah at Matsos Brewery in Broome.

Cable Beach holiday

We had camped as a family with four young children behind the Cable Beach Resort years ago and had looked longingly at the unaffordable luxury behind the fence. My daughter and i recently stayed here for four days in a twin garden view room - certainly not a cheap option - we could have stayed cheaper in a unit in town, with self contained options but we very much enjoyed the experience. There is something about a resort with multiple options of dining, choice of family or adult pool, tropical gardens, proximity to the beach and a great place to eat prawns and drink beer while the sun sets into the sea, that makes you forget how much you have paid. There was a good sized bar fridge for fruit and beers, so we could have our own breakfast on our verandah, grab a takeaway coffee from the cafe and relax over our computers (free wifi) before a stroll over to the beach and a great swim (try and go when the tide is in otherwise a long walk down to the water). For $10 for half a day you can hire an umbrella which they put up - and a take away $10 greek salad from the cafe on the beach is great for lunch. We had a laksa at the staircase to the moon market, drove down to Gantheaume point to see the coloured boulders falling into the sea (dinosaur prints there somewhere), watched a movie at the outdoor cinema (take a cushion as they are sling back chairs), tried the tasting platter of beers at Matsos brewery, drank iced coffees by the adult pool and tried to end the day at the sunset bar with a bucket of prawns and a beer. Sounds idyllic - it was!

Superb for families and those who want peace and quiet

This is the first hotel I have been to which has a family friendly swimming pool and a separate adults only pool. A fantastic idea. The resort is in the best location in Broom, on Cable Beach. The staff are friendly, courteous and efficient. Three restaurants to choose from, all three were first class. Yes, I will definitely go back to this resort, its just perfect.

Great location, but thats about as good as it gets!

This hotel does not deliver 5 star service. The only thing 5 star about this hotel is the location. Everything else is very average.

One of our favourite Resorts

We stay here at 2-3 times a year usually through hotel direct but This time we didn't as we found better prices on the net on this stay we felt the hotel needs to lift its act before the start of the dry season(it's busy time) as housekeeping is no where up to standard this we no as we have stayed there each year for the last 11 yrs our Bungalow was not very clean at all & 2nd bathroom did not even have toiletries in it and the new 1 towel per house guest is not acceptable in a 5 star resort when you have very long hair to wash n dry,it took 4 phone calls to finally get our BBQ organised and had already booked this at 11am for a 6.30 pm and this service is an extra $19 just to supply the BBQ to cook on with some plates to serve it on this l believe is over the top and breakfast is no longer included of stays less than 3 nights and turn down service well housekeeping have no idea what that means, but this hotel is in the best location in Cable Beach.

Money-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

Take your own drinks/snacks down on the lawn in front of hotel to watch sunset as drinks at hotel are very pricey and all the locals do this, nice meal in town at the Irish pub, Divers Tavern within walking distance serves a nice meal not bad prices for Broome.

Exceeded expectations

We booked into the cable beach resort for a weekend break after travelling to Broome for work. We weren't expecting luxury, because we had got a good price on the room. It completely exceeded our expectations however. All the staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. We were upgraded to a villa, with kitchen and living areas. The food and drinks options were great, if a little expensive and having left our toddler son at home, we really enjoyed the "adults only" pool, for quiet relaxation. would definately recommend this place to anyone going to Broome.
