Halls Gap can be reached in three hours by car from Melbourne, six hours from Adelaide and 10 hours from Canberra. Motor routes A8, A200, B180 and B160 travel through the area. There is daily coach transport from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne.
Halls Gap’s town centre is perfect for walking and is filled with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. Many of the scenic attractions and waterfalls are within easy driving distance of the village.
